Little Ivies Prep is a boutique early childhood program founded by Riana Barksdale, a lifelong Upper West Side resident, educator, and mother.

Since opening in 2015, Little Ivies has become a trusted part of the Upper West Side community, serving families who value a personalized, high-touch approach to early education. Our intimate, small-group setting allows each child to receive individualized attention while building strong academic, social, and emotional foundations.

Guided by a thoughtfully designed, developmentally appropriate curriculum, children are supported in developing early literacy, numeracy, and confidence at their own pace. Riana holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from New York University, along with New York State certifications in both General and Special Education, bringing a depth of expertise to every aspect of the program.
